Now, if that isn't a classic title, I don't know what is!
It's from the BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/6599437.stm
Now, obviously we could all start to rant and rave about Sharia restrictions on individuals, etc. etc.
But...
"A Nigerian lesbian who "married" four women last weekend in Kano State has gone into hiding from the Islamic police, with her partners."
... how would Christians in the US and Europe cope with this life style?
Are we really any different when it comes to our attitudes towards that which is different?
"Nigeria's parliament is considering tightening its laws on homosexuality."
Gays in the army?
Moving the Berlin "Love" parade?
"As defenders of the Sharia laws, we shall not allow this unhealthy development to take root in the state," the Hisbah's deputy commander Ustaz Abubakar Rabo told Nigeria's This Day newspaper.
vs:
"I think it's very important that we protect marriage as an institution between a man and a woman. I proposed a constitutional amendment. The reason I did so was because I was worried that activist judges are actually defining the definition of marriage. And the surest way to protect marriage between a man and woman is to amend the Constitution."

The "we" I'm referring to is the Western Christian attitude, which is gaining ground in the US and Europe.

Originally posted by shavixmirYeah sure, we're the same as Sharia. Letting 5 dykes live together, but not give them the marriage paperwork is exactly the same as cutting their clits off or killing them.
