@Cliff-Mashburn saidThat was me because it was true.
18 days and counting of Antifa attacking federal buildings in Portland and the media is ignoring it. I seem to recall one of the idiots here claiming there are no Antifa in Portland and it was all right-wing groups ...who was that ?

I was there on the ground at the BLM protests and saw it with my own eyes.
The alt-right white boys tried to blame the damage on the protesters, which was ridiculous.
There was no Antifa then and I'm pretty sure there is no Antifa there now. There is no organized Antifa movement anywhere for many years now, but you fools like to dig them up when you need a scapegoat.
@Arkturos saidIt's their actions that you need to judge them by.
If Antifa still means "anti-fascist" -- why wouldn't any true American oppose that?
BTW, have you been to Powell's Book Store despite the riots? Never mind -- I'll just check their website for some books I have in mind.
They can call themselves Happy Ice Cream Soldiers if they want, it doesn't change the fact they are attacking law enforcement and civilians while burning down federal buildings, private businesses, cars, etc.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidSend in the Marines!

@AThousandYoung saidNo Marines needed, a few angry citizens could handle them.
Send in the Marines!
@Cliff-Mashburn saidAccording to you the angry citizens are causing riots.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidYou mean THESE rioters?

@Arkturos saidSo I'll jot you down as Fascist.

Thanks for the heads up.
True Americans oppose fascism, not anti-fascism.
Portland is pretty much a lost cause. Land of the Lotus Eaters and tree killers. Bunch of wannabe Canadians that cannot even begin to comprehend just how hard they are failing.
This is what happens when the highest aspirations one might have in life are doing heroin and playing grunge music.
Also, speaking as a former employee of the late, great Haslam's Book Store in St. Pete, FL, I feel sorry for Powell's.
@Arkturos saidPortland used to be such a cool city. Powell's and the Saturday market were a great way to spend time in Portland before the leftists ruined everything there.

@Suzianne saidSometimes the saddest stories involve people with the best intentions who somehow find themselves at odds.
So I'll jot you down as Fascist.
Thanks for the heads up.

I hope you might appreciate that I'm not "jotting you down" as psychotic or at least delusional.
I do understand, respect, and allow that it seems you find it difficult to connect my apparent dots in a way that would be comprehensible and acceptable to you.
I do not intend this as mockery. Years ago I had an insight that a crossing of paths (although at the time maybe seemingly fortuitous) does not necessarily indicate that it would be beneficial for either or both parties to continue the interaction.
However, somewhat later and a little more lifted out (if I'm not fooling myself), isn't it funny how the partitions and complications of descriptions and even the truest of fictions can keep us apart and put people at odds with one another?
