There's a reason for it. The US government doesn't want it's people to know what it is doing and so spends millions of the American's tax dollars on programs to mislead the public. They are certainly very proud that most Americans would rather watch a football game, or the latest American Idle episode, than pay attention to the news!

You can tell that the money spent has paid off well. Just look at some of the posts here from Americans in denial about their government. Poster's like Merk, Dace Ace and jammer. These people won't even complain when the government takes their children away.

its shocking isnt it. all they know is probably the way to mcdonalds,
dunkin donuts, the mall and home again, which button on the remote for american idol and which for oprah. i reckon ali g went easy on em.
