I have fun with Obama supporters that I met in the day to day world. I ask this them this question.

Since your going to vote for Obama, explain to me his energy policy for the United States and what steps will he take to end our dependence on foreign oil. I generally get a answer like, 'He'll tax the big oil companies more and that will reduce the price of gas'

Needless to say, I just smile and walk away.

Now if you ask me who do I think will win? I think it will be Obama in a squeaker of an election. I don't think he will have any 'coattails' and sweep a bunch of Democrats into office with him though. Only concern I have about a President Obama is his very liberal ideas, his stated intentions of appeasement when it comes to foreign policy and basically his naive and inexperienced nature.

McCain ... the smartest thing he could do is get Joe Lieberman to be his VP running mate. That way he can keep his liberal domestic ideas intact, and present a image of a strong and experienced foreign policy team. Face it, Lieberman would attract alot of independents, moderate Democrats who are not comfortable with Obama, and blue collar, working class folk from both parties

As for me .. I'm writing someone in for the first time since I started voting in 1970 ... I got till November to decide who

In the contest of whether America would rather vote into office a woman or a black man, it seems in the bigger scheme of things John Lennon was right.

Now as to whether anyone can expect a septuagenarian to out pace and outsmart a man 25 years his junior its my guess that we only need pictures of McCain drooling during nap time and this will be the quickest contest of all time.

I like Lieberman, he's one of the last principled Democrats, even though his own party rejected him for supporting the war in Iraq. However, I heard an interesting selection for McCain's VP and was wondering what anyone else thought of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal? Besides having rooted out much of the institutional corruption in Louisiana and lowering business taxes, it appears he's set his state on the right path. Of course Jindal's main trump is that he's non-white. Would adding him to the ticket help the Republicans win the next election?

It warms my heart to know that you're so concerned about the health of our next president. Have you considered that since Obama is a smoker, he could die of stroke or heart disease four days into his administration? Or, since Hillary is a lesbian, she might be arrested for abusing her partner (I don't mean Bill) or could contract HPV and die of uterine cancer weeks into her administration?

McCain has more than outcampaigned his opponets thus far as stamina and the ability to jump from one place to another all over the country. He is like the Energizer Bunny on steroids.

His health or age isnt my problem with him

Being an older citizen, I have to comment that experience, wisdom, guile and treachery always beat youth and inexperience (smiles)
