I was somewhat surprised by the outrage of the Bristish people about an Italian magazine publishing a photo of her at the scene of the wreck. The pic is really nothing and doesn't show anything. How do you all feel about it?
I don't need to see it to know it's very distasteful.

It's mainly the Daily Express that latched onto this. Some call it the Diana Express. Last week they had three Diana stories on the front page of the newspaper (priority over the Lebanon crisis) in five days. It's a joke. Anyway, I seem to remember the Daily Express having photos of a dying footballer or something. Don't quote me on that however.
The Daily Express, the Daily Mail and the Sun are all a joke. I mean, for crying out loud, one the Daily Express's main selling points is that it's "5p cheaper than the Daily Mail" as it loves to proclaim on the front. Its emblem is a little Saxon warrior, which says it all. The thing is so archaic it ought to have been buried long, long ago. So please don't judge us by our sensationalist press. This story didn't even make BBC News.
Thanks.

However, it is true! The number of front pages dedicated to her by that paper are unbelievable.
Also, it is owned by a notorious crook and pornographer Richard "Dirty" Desmond.

From Wikipedia:
In April 2004, the Daily Express shifted its support from Labour to the Conservatives. On the same day Desmond caused a scandal by accusing the Daily Telegraph, which was then considering accepting a takeover offer by the German Axel Springer group, of giving in to Nazis. Desmond allegedly harangued the Daily Telegraph's chief executive and associates in faux German at a business meeting and imitated Adolf Hitler, before erupting in a tirade of four-letter words.
