As Progressives fast approach Armageddon with their policies, it is important to be able to keep up with the new lingo. Here are but a few terms to identify.

    1. War.
It is not a war if you attack a sovereign country. In fact, it is not a war if they even have "boots on the ground". It only becomes a war if they attack your country.

    2. Boots on the ground.
Your children are about to die, that is, children progressives are forced to care about at home. Children abroad are on their own.

    3. Obstructionist.
Anyone who attacks a progressive policy. Examples are Putin opposing war in Syria or the Tea Party opposing debt ceiling increases. The only other options are becoming a "speedbump" that slows down progressive policies, also frowned upon but tolerated, or being a dead head who supports their policies because they drink the cool aid.

    4. Extremist.
This is like being an obstructionist, only, with the added twist of being mentally unstable. After all, anyone who opposes enlightened progressive policies should probably be declared legally insane.

    5. Political courage.
This terms acknowledges political suicide in terms of career ending capacity. This term means that progressives in the federal government are about to screw us domestically, internationally, or both and they really don't care if they ever win an election again to do it.

    6. Bipartisan.
This is just like political courage, only, people don't know they are getting screwed and those responsible fully expect to win reelection.

    7. Racist.
Anyone who has objections to a progressive policy, but whose skin color is not black. Brown skin color, like that of Hispanics qualifies, but if they are black they become a sell out or "uncle Tom".

    8. Reactionary.
Not like you have any reason to oppose what progressives are doing. Nope, you are just being reactionary, like that is a bad thing. As if your central nervous system must be failing if you jerk your hand off a hot stove.

    9. Red Line.
A word still in progress of being defined. Currently it is used only to deride and poke fun at progressives.

    Any others?

    10. Armageddon
Once used to mean the end of times /humanity either because of natural disasters such as asteroid impacts, or because the imaginary Fairy Man up in sky decided to throw a tantrum again, the word is mostly used these days by whiny, pussy Conservatives who can't deal with the fact that the world doesn't revolve around them and doesn't follow their rules.

    11. Progressive

A word used in the blogosphere to describe people who don't themselves identify as "progressive", nor could reasonably be considered as such considering the historical categorization of progressives.

Ooh, I have another one. This is fun.

    12. Marriage.
Once referred to the union and legal contract between a man and a woman. These days, in many civilised countries marriage can also refer to the union between a man and a man and a woman and a woman. That last part may mislead you, as it seems to imply polygamy is also considered ok. But no, those damn hypocritical progressives apparently find polygamy bad, but gross gay buttsex and pointless scissoring good enough to make it legal and tax deductible.

Oddly enough, while most agree that a living language constantly changes, some people feel that especially the meaning of the word marriage must never change.
