When you weigh in on such matters as today’s goings-on, you probably do not even know that on Saturday, Trump got every important leader on the phone while sitting on the tarmac with totally secure comms, and told him he wanted them all to come to DC for a Monday morning meeting, today, to resolve a lot of these issues. They all, everyone, have great respect for him, and showed up. Think about it,….you say so much as if it’s already in stone, when in fact, they just met this morning to put stuff in stone.
Do you follow? So everything you said is out the window. Just this morning decisions were made about more security for both countries as part of the negotiations. Note that you did not mention the Security part of the negotiations, which leaves all of your comments to be totally diluted to zero.
This is why I say you should write posts that are based on fact and current events, ….no one wants to hear what someone thinks. Can you imagine everybody reading one of Susan‘s post to see what she thinks??

Will see what happens for real. Trump is not going to give any more military aid to Ukraine outside of the missile system they already sent which was held up by that incompetent boob Hegseth making decisions instead of Trump, when he stopped the shipment of military aid already paid for, he way overstepped his bounds as defense secretary.

If there had been any significant progress on actual peace talks about Ukraine they would have been all over it instead of that 12 minute display of stupidity that had ALL the media types in total confusion including some of Trump's own cabinet.

I can only grab a few of your snippets… In this case you say, Trump is not going to do military aid. My knee-jerk reaction is that he won’t need to, all he has to do is twist the arm of India out of buying oil from Russia. I do not think that you have been watching the news, but boy you sure do have a lot of unbiased unfounded opinions.

Yep, Putin just QUAKES IN HIS BOOTS when he thinks of just how powerful his friend Trump is when Trump waves his fists around threatening dire consequences for Putin continuing the war.

And a wartime settlement to Trump means lets appease Putin just like the UK did with the NAZI's, give them a huge chunk of territory in Poland and France, yep THAT will stop Hitler from pursuing war.

But of course Trump, having never taken or was asleep when history class started would not have a clue as to how effective appeasement is, which is basically ZERO.

Dictators take it as a sign of WEAKNESS when given land in appeasement and Putin is no different. When a so called Peace agreement is made he will soon just go HA HA I fooled you and start attacking again when he rebuilds his flagging military, HUGE losses that a peace deal will give him time to rebuild his army and air force and just attack again.

That is EXACTLY how dictators think.

Trump, being the most stupid POTUS in US history, really thinks the solution is to just let Putin have all the land he 'won' in battle and Zelinsky should just accept the loss of 30% of his country.

What I wonder is whether we will EVER find out the hold Putin has over Trump.

The US was the ONLY western power to vote no on declaring Russia condemned for attacking Ukraine. Votes no: Russia, China, Iran and now THE USA, no DON'T CONDEMN Russia, because it used to be Russian territory and they DESERVE that land back.

Completely ignoring the fact Putin had 20,000 CHILDREN kidnapped and forced to live with Russian families and become real Russians.

All you have to do is look at how Trump has treated Putin in the past. Like no other POTUS in US history, giving Putin everything he wants, stop the sanctions, bring him to Alaska meeting with the most powerful man on Earth giving Putin international power so Trump helps Putin every day.
So Putin knowing Trump is a joke, all you have to do is compliment Trump and he is your buddy forever. Putin ALREADY has won. The world now sees Trump as a buffoon, only interested in pushing his own wealth using corruption in plain sight.
