When someone in a leadership position abuses his/her power, what is it called? I think it may be degradation of authority but I am not totally sure.

An example of what I mean is, say a detective destroys evidence on purpose that he found, or an executive purposely leaks information, or a system administrator uses company computer systems for personal use--basically, what is it called when someone violates the trust of their position?--if it is a crime, what category would all of those fall into?

Degradation of authority has a serious sound to it. There are the terms malfeasance, misfeasance, and nonfeasance but those terms might only apply to public officials. I'm not sure.
