I think the government should be stocking food just incase this doesn't go away with warm weather next month.
Then the poor and hungry can pick up or have delivered a pre packaged survival kit with the basics for survival.
They should already have warehouses set up for this scenario but they don't.
Forever foods that don't go bad like pasta, rice, sugar and salt, can ...[text shortened]... y be stored rapidly and if not needed it won't go bad so no waste.
No cost to those that need it.
