Well, Russ has put the last nail in the coffin with his dumb idea about losing track of Recs.

The loss of one's permanent record makes the forums a transitory area. Where once was a solid grounding for a person's credibility (or not in the case of No1Defrauder!), now all we have is the shifting sands of a monthly synopsis.

No longer can we look forward to the first person to reach 10,000 recs and watch as they struggle to curry favour and post like a demon.
Already the forums have started to stagnate with fewer postings than ever.

I know there is alot of fawning to Russ within these pages, but can you all agree with me that this idea is a poor one indeed.

What are you talking about? The only thing limited is the amount of recs a sub can give in a month. Nothing else has chenged

Complaints from non-subscribers are the same as non-complaints.

Yes, the capitalist accumulation of recs system has been replaced with a new labourish rec income credit sytem - fortunately I saw this coming and my recs were deposited in a Swiss Bank in the name of an offshore holding company, so I will receive a new rec in interest from my previous rec portfolio every month

I find it hilarious that one of the least credible persons on this site is complaining about a lack of credibility in the forums.

Anyway, think it is a great idea. And buy a subscription before you criticise a site and it's creator you moocher.

If they had negative recs I might subscribe ... should be able to give AND take.
As it is, it's basicly a circle-jerk for adolescent drama queens

I agree. I was quite happy watching my recs climbing away - it was a nice motivation to write longer, more comprehensive arguments. Okay, I'll freely admit that to be a little shallow, but so what? This new system sucks.

I may add/miss an apostrophe here and there, but that doesn’t change the fact that you are a complete ****wit.
