I'm completely Euro-White on both sides (unless we trace it all the way back, and maybe Han in a former life) from a typical 1950's atomic (or should I say nukular) family, and am interested to learn whether some Black Americans have found or observed some benefit in being raised by just their Mother and her Mother, and to have siblings fathered by different people, and to have a whole network of cousins and other relatives all around.
To me it seems that might provide more opportunities to find compatible and supportive relatives within the familial network(s).
If there's a good book or two on that topic, I'd appreciate the references.
@fornichessate saidWhy isn't what the case?
@Arkturos
Then why isn't that the case?
May I ask if you are a Black American?
