You mean good by human standards right. Because by God's Standards all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of god.

So god allows the devil to commit evil. In otherwords, evil couldn't happen without god's consent. God could stop the devil from committing evil, or he could defeat the devil completely, but he chooses not to. It seems that god likes this racket that he and the devil have come up with. God doesn't like to get his hands dirty, so he has the devil do all his dirty work for him while he sits back and basks in the power and the glory.

If your god does exist, he is just as guilty as the devil. He bears an equal burden in the responsibility for evil.

You would have enjoyed being here in Zion last night. About five o'clock we got a downpour. Wonderful! Water.

Utah is a desert you know.

This morning I went for the paper and did a double take. It was actually cool on the stoop. I (did) set and watch the sun come up. My puppy dog got to smell the entire perimeter for a change. She loved it.

Utah, isn't that the place they go to to make those westerns because of the beautiful scenery ? Those "blocks" of mountains standing in the desert ?

Yup.

It is "Castle Valley". It is acutally on the border beteen Utah and Arizona. Having been a resident of both... I have no favoritism. Let's call it Arizuta!

The good news is that the Navaho Nation extracts three point seven million dollars for each movie. They are the owners. <sorry Rob. So much for exploitation>

Is there a devil? If so, how could he continue to exist except by the grace of god? Either god is unable to defeat the devil, in which case he is not omnipotent, or he is capable of defeating him, but is quite happy with letting the devil run amok, in which case he is not omnibenevolent. It's just a variation on the problem of evil which we have touched on before. The christian conception of god is not compatible with the presence of evil in the world.

Your theology is not compatible with reality, Rwingo !
