@Great-Big-Stees saidOne suspects sir you were an anomaly with or without the jab.

@Great-Big-Stees saidMy son got them and literally can’t smell anything anymore. Ammonia tabs under his nose makes his head hurt but no smell whatsoever.

@fornichessate removed their quoted postSeems to me that a rather large number of folks died pre vaccine and after the implementation of the vaccine the number of deaths greatly reduced. That tells me that, at least on the surface, it worked.
@mike69 saidThe vaccine didn't stop somebody getting the virus. It was designed to reduce the impact if they did.

One of the known symptoms of Covid (long Covid) is the loss of taste/smell. - It's therefore likely your son's loss of smell was a result of contracting Covid, not the vaccine jabs he had received.
@mike69 saidAny time you are given meds or have surgery there is a “possibility” that any number of situations (reactions) might occur up to and including death but most often the chances of them occurring tends to be minimal.

@fornichessate saidRead my response below. It applies to your response too.
Those people were going to die from COVID with or without the vax.
Now the vax people are getting heart failure.
I provided a Stanford medical article, you should be fine because you are now but many are dying.
Some people smoke their whole lives and don't get cancer. I guess cigarettes don't cause cancer.
That's what you vax people sound like.
Edit: meant above.🫢
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidWas this with or without the shots and what were the percentages?

@Great-Big-Stees saidI think the numbers go much higher on the shots than those from your example.

@mike69 saidAnybody catching Covid (irrespective of if they had the jab or not) had a good chance of losing their sense of taste/smell. (Indeed, it was the only symptom i had when i caught it). For most people it returned when the virus went, but for those who experienced long term effects (long Covid) taste or smell could be permanently affected.
Was this with or without the shots and what were the percentages?
I can understand why your son blamed the jab, but again, it was more likely to be the effects of Covid itself. (Due to it being a common symptom).
