Renewables are killing Trump's energy plan

Despite Trump Administration actions to improve fossil fuel economics and reduce renewable energy competitiveness, updated levelized cost of energy (LCOE) data and new renewable energy projects show clean energy continues beating fossil fuels on economics, at a faster pace and in more locations than ever before.

Donald Trump's energy policy is a colossal failure. No amount of gerrymandering by a President can compete with market forces. Solar and wind power are clean, renewable, and cheap. Oil and coal simply cannot compete anymore.

Frankly, I feel sorry for all those people in the coal and oil field he lied to. Donald Trump and his followers need to stop living in the past. Those jobs are not coming back, not in the numbers he promised.

Tell that to the people of the state of South Australia who have taken a beating under that states drive towards renewable energy. They have the most expensive power in Australia, and Australia itself is rated high internationally.
