@shavixmir
Here is the real deal: He is so flippant because he expects repubs to win the house come November which would mean 100% sure the investigation to ANY of the insurrection/coup will be DOA.
THAT is what he is hoping for, but don't see how that would fly unless he hopes to keep the court dates into long enough continuance to say last till next year at which point he thinks he gets a get out of jail card.
Since he would not have a presidential pardon in any case I think he is just blowing smoke out his ass unless *Shudder* Trump wins in a fair election come 24, but even at that he might spend the next couple of years in prison before Trump could issue pardons. The whole conspiracy involves a BUNCH of sitting house and senate members, apparently over 100 of our duly elected officials, now clearly interested in holding republican power forever, which by definition would end the US as being a democracy. Sad part is millions of folks not caring about such pesky details as such a fundamental change in our government happening like our military being ordered to use military force to stop demonstrators and the 100% chance Trump would IMMEDIATELY go after his perceived enemies and helping his buddies like Roger Stone and Navarro but at that point it would be too late to change things but those zombie Trump supporters are too stupid to think things through that far, he is their hero and that is that.

Kevin Clinesmith lied during John Durham's investigation.
No accountability for him, but George Papadopoulos got a perjury conviction in a blatant double standard.
@metal-brain saidClinesmith was acquitted by a jury.

Some "double standard".
@no1marauder saidwhy are you lying? clinesmith plead guilty.

“Clinesmith, who worked for the FBI for four years, pleaded guilty last summer to falsifying the communication during the early stages of the FBI's investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 election and possible ties to the Trump campaign.”

Clearly there's no "double standard" between how Clinesmith and Papadoulous were treated.
@sonhouse saidSlow down, Sonhouse, I’m putting this in my journal, I can’t write that fast!!!

Him not being able to remember the exact date he met with people is not a lie. He had no incentive to lie.
Clinesmith was guilty and still got probation. The judge gave him special treatment.

What about that sentence don't you understand? And he lied about far more than dates though the dates he lied about were material; he tried to push his meeting with Mifkin to before he was an adviser to the Trump campaign when they occurred afterwards.
