Just last year Republicans introduced the "Back the Blue" act as a response to calls to defund police because of police brutality against minorities. Now Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Green and Paul Gosar of Arizona want to "defund" FBI law enforcement because they raided Trump.
I said before that Republicans complain about being "soft on crime" when it comes to nonwhites but want to crack down on federal law enforcement from doing their jobs when it comes to their president who tried to ban Muslims.
Question: where was all this "defund the FBI" when they were investigating Hunter Biden? You Republicans applaud the FBI for looking at Hunter but then accuse them of being political tools when they go after Trump?
Republicans: sad, sad hypocrites.

I like this guy. Who is he? Anslinger and Hoover are responsible for turning grass into a sched 3 drug BECAUSE Hoo HATED BLACKS AND JAZZ MUSICIANS and weaponizing grass gave him his chance and we are paying for that to this day.
I had a friend Anthony Dubois, arrested in Colorado (where I was for a year in USAF tech school, Lowry AFB) for possession of one joint.
Judge sentenced Anthony to FORTY YEARS. Unbeknownst to anyone there, Anthony had smuggled in a pistol.
He pulled it out and told the judge, this is on YOU. And shot himself in the head, died before he hit the ground.
He could have offed the judge but didn't, committing suicide instead.
I still think about that tragedy.

@wajoma saidI say the US should go the way Portugal did 20 years ago and decriminalize the possession of all drugs, including meth and heroin, at least in amounts that are typical for personal use (as opposed to dealing). When Portugal did this, and addiction correspondingly became viewed as a medical issue instead of a matter for the criminal justice system, the country's drug problem faded to a shadow of its former self.

But the US has a responsibility to keep the privatized prisons profitable, so the "war on drugs" rages on in what is increasingly the most retrograde "democracy" in modern times. The fact that the war can never be won -- as demonstrated by over half a century of utter failure -- is a feature, not a bug.

Or take the coup-attempt last year: "Law & Order" Republicans bashing and beating officers of the law left and right.
Just take the medicine. Dear Leader should be in prison, so he's still not getting a fraction of the police persecution that he deserves. In any case the FBI had enough just cause for a search to obtain a warrant, so it seems odd that you would not be interested in seeing the investigation through to the end.
