Ex-governor of Mississippi Phil Bryant scammed $4 million in welfare funds to build a volleyball facility with Brett Favre, ex-football (American football) star and outspoken Trump supporter. Both denied scamming millions welfare funds until text messages between the two were uncovered showing that they knowingly engaged in the scam.

Furthermore, Bryant used welfare money to attack his political opponents:
https://mississippitoday.org/2022/09/17/welfare-scandal-bryant-reeves/

It doesn't end there:

https://www.npr.org/2022/09/16/1123559106/newly-released-texts-highlight-corruption-in-mississippi-welfare-scandal

Under Bryant, at least 90 million in welfare funds were stolen by Mississippi officials for personal use.

Meanwhile, when crime goes up in these neighborhoods because their own governor stole money meant to help the poor, conservatives will just blame minorities.

As if the ex-governor stealing money from the poor wasn't bad enough, only a few days ago the current Mississippi governor said this:

https://www.businessinsider.com/mississippi-governor-great-day-to-not-be-in-jackson-water-2022-9

Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves says it's 'a great day to not be in Jackson,' where residents went without clean running water for weeks

Wow. What a piece of garbage.

I am not much of a link-reader, but if what you say is true, this person has been referred to, as far back as Byzantine times, as a bad apple.
Are there no bad apples in the world of liberals and democrats? Is Hillary a bad apple? Is a man who wants to transform the America of 246 years a Really bad apple? Can you imagine even Saying that? Is Hunter a bad apple....sorry, I digress.

He's not a "bad apple" if his actions are common among Republicans. Multiple Mississippi officials stole welfare money during this Republican governor's term; Trump was found in court to be a scammer who defrauded people out of $25 million dollars with a fake "university", and he was elected anyway even though Republicans knew this.

It's not just one "bad apple" with Republicans, it's an intrinsic part of conservative culture to steal from the poor then mock and deride those same people for being poor.

Welfare is paid out regardless of any scams or theft. That politician may have stole funds but the welfare recipients still get their cheques.

When a bank gets robbed does the bank say "Sorry your money was stolen" no they don't.

To say crime is excusable because they scammed money from the fund is ridiculous.

Hopefully Bret Favre ends up in jail. I never liked him.

No. Banks have insurance to guard against theft. Welfare money is limited; so when welfare money is stolen, like the $90 million under Republican officials, there is less to take care of the poor.

What traction can you possibly have when such actions are equally as 'common' (maybe more, considering the crimes of your brothers in the dem-controlled big cities) among democrats and liberals ? Are you going to open yourself up to the money scandal of Hillary in Arkansas.?
I don't get you there. Why say something so general.. Hit us with a Marauder-link.

It's mostly liberals and progressives calling out such corruption; Republicans deny it's happening.

The lack of traction comes from people like these conservatives who refuse to call out the rich and powerful while continuing to blame the poor for their problems.

Stop it, Joe. Just stop the pretence. You're not just wasting our time, you're wasting your own, and you're wasting your husband's.

Now you're lapsing into txtspk. Is your mask slipping? Are you really a 30-something 4channer, writing "words" like "r" and "u"? You really should get your front straight, QJoe.
