In recent tragic events wrought by senseless terrorist attacks both at home and a broad (or is it 'abroad'? No matter...), a common thread has been noted.
In four of these vile, senseless, really mean shootings, four people were saved by either a backpack (Ft. Lauderdale massacre), or a cell phone (super bad things that happened in San Berdoo, gay Paris and Istanbul-stuff).
With the unbelievable saving power strong enough to stop a terrorist's bullets, isn't it time for the powers that be to step in and mandate that everyone wears a backpack and/or cell phone for travel outside of their homes?
Doesn't this seem like a minimum step to take in the war on terror?

When it comes to saving lives much better advice would be:
1. Look both ways before crossing a road.
2. Don't drink and drive.
3. Don't text and drive.

But the track record of the cell phone is kinda hard to ignore.
Maybe it's just a miracle!

Annual American deaths by Automobile - 38,300
Annual American deaths by gun violence - 33,559
Annual American deaths by Terrorism - Less than 40
Your commute to and from work, and trips to the grocery store is far more dangerous than any terror threat. Terrorists can't begin to compete with Americans killing each other with cars and guns.

That's death, fellow traveler.
I am talking about life: four lives saved by such ordinary everyday objects in such a miraculous manner--- or is it fate which saved all four of them from terrorists nefarious aims, fate in the form of the lowly porn folder, er, cell phone.
Think of it: four attacks, four saves from a backpack or a cell phone!
No way that could be a coincidence!
It's a miracle!
