headline:
RFK Jr. says Trump would push to remove fluoride from drinking water. ‘It’s possible,’ Trump says it's possible.

quote

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a prominent proponent of debunked public health claims whom Donald Trump has promised to put in charge of health initiatives, said Saturday that Trump would push to remove fluoride from drinking water on his first day in office if elected president.

Fluoride strengthens teeth and reduces cavities by replacing minerals lost during normal wear and tear, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The addition of low levels of fluoride to drinking water has long been considered one of the greatest public health achievements of the last century.

Kennedy made the declaration Saturday on the social media platform X alongside a variety of claims about the heath effects of fluoride.

“On January 20, the Trump White House will advise all U.S. water systems to remove fluoride from public water,” Kennedy wrote. Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, “want to Make America Healthy Again,” he added, repeating a phrase Trump often uses and links to Kennedy.

end quote

RFK Jr., the guy's a nutter, thinks vaccines cause autism. Now this: shades of Dr. Strangelove, flouridation in drinking water causes .... what exactly? Cancer? Communism? Infertility? And Trump says 'it's possible', won't call out this obvious nut job. Typical Trump, it's a no brainer.

I was hoping on something about bear cubs and brain worms.

Removing flouride from the water will result in more cavities and higher healthcare costs.
Now, if you plan to rip healthcare to shreds, then this will benefit doctors (dentists) and people in the medical profession.
And poor people will end up walking around looking like Shane McGowan on a bad day.

Putting Kennedy in charge of health initiatives is like putting the inmates in charge of the asylum.

He has the voice of the satanic off-spring of Tom Waits and a bubonic plague victim.

You do realize that fluoride is a byproduct of aluminium smelting, and highly toxic? I don't want it in the water either, even it it does reduce cavities. What else does it do?

You do realize that radioactivity is a byproduct of the production of the electricity which comes out of your wall socket, and that radioactivity is highly toxic. But that does not mean the electricity that comes out of your wall socket is radioactive or toxic. Same applies to the flouride in drinking water; there is no aluminum in it by the time it gets to your faucet. The same applies to chlorine, which is also in your drinking water. The dosage matters; in low concentrations, it is beneficial, in high concentrations, it is poisonous.

Here are some links to factual information:

RFK Jr. is making a fool of himself by politicizing this issue, propagating bogus science and stoking fears of govt conspiracies.
