Republicans are pushing to end democracy, and of course from their truly sick minds they think they are somehow saving civilization but in reality what is going on is mainstream republican 'thought' is they think white people should run the US forever, in short, they are striving to turn the US into yet another banana republic with republicans in total charge of all three branches of government.

It will happen in sneaky ways, first accusing ALL democrats of being pedophiles, to make their base think the only ones capable of running the government is old white male republicans.

What are you republicans going to say 30 years from now when elections are actually banned by the coming banana republic?

Are you republicans prepared for that, you might just get your wish but YOU all have to live with the consequences.

Me, I am not hanging around the US when that happens.

Biden right now is trying to fix some of the problems in the US like infrastructure but your republican lawmakers voted NO to the last person, THEN take credit when it is done and states are getting billions to fix bridges and roads and the like.

Your hysteria is just as bad as everything you criticize. One could question mask or vaccine mandates (I personally don't) without being against democracy. Furthermore, one could be for democracy and opposed race based preference (as there certainly should). One could be bothered by certain types of spending (in fact in a time when inflation seems imminent that actuall ...[text shortened]... re wrong. Our society will be fine even if we don't adopt the agenda that you personally advocate.

Regarding the infrastructure bill, you can believe in general that infrastructure spending in general makes sense, but also believe that the bill in question was inflated pork laden inefficient unjustified deficit spending that made it, overall, a bad idea.

Spoken like a traditional republican deficit hawk. A breath of fresh air IMHO! 🙂

My point is that the fact that many don't agree with everyone that certain liberals want does not in any way mean that democracy in the United States is over. In fact, we are far better off that everyone does not swallow all of the crap that liberals advocate.

As far as I know, there is only one US politician being actively investigated for paedophilia. And that’s a republican (Gaetz). Something to do with sex with a minor and sex trafficking.

One would think the republican party would tread carefully on this issue.
