I used to live up in the country, and having to avert animals on the road was a huge problem. Most of the time it would just be rabbits or feral cats/dogs, but occaisionally you'd come across kangaroos or cows, which can write off your average sedan no problem.
Sometimes when you're driving along you see a critter on the side of the road in complete safety, ...[text shortened]... e road, and figure that's their only option. It's just their instincts leading them astray
