Maybe he should get back to work, or get his nation back on track to work before trying to sort out the issues of the world......
By the way, did he not say the other day that France would go to war ? or was calling for war ? something along thoses lines.....

It was his Foreign Minister who allegedly put forward the idea of a war in a press conference but in every interview since has claimed he was misinterpreted, which from the quote in Yesterdays Paris edition of the Herald Tribune seems a possibility. Sarkozy has since mede it clear that war is not on the cards, but a more aggressive stance than Europe has previously given is necessary and he wants to spearhead that. Also, I think you'll all find that this is the least "French" President the French have ever had.

He's wrong. The worst would be Iran getting the bomb. But, being a French politician, I will cut him some slack on that. He has little choice but to be wrong on this issue.

Also, the quote was in reference to Iran getting the bomb. While I agree that the French have always been nothing much more than huff, puff and sexy women, I think we're going to see a lot of changes in the former two characteristics over the course of Sarkozy's presidency.

Let's not forget that no less than the French President himself, at his own admission, sanctioned a terrorist attack....the Rainbow Warrior sinking in New Zealand.
Originally posted by ZadadkaHe's already done a lot, he's halving the civil service over the next few years, that alone is a herculian task for the French. He's also forced through a lot of EU changes, the current constitutional treaty for one.
