What are your thoughts of public schools singing songs about Jesus at Christmas time at chore concerts?
I was at one last night and they sang about 3 of them.
I have no problems with holiday songs or even Christmas songs but I am uncomfortable with singing specifically about Jesus in a public school.
Making it optional isn't sufficient. The sing process should not specifically endorse one religion.

Originally posted by RBHILLim happy for them to sing about jesus as long as they sing about other gods at significant holidays and!!! as long as children can opt out without the school being judgmental about the parents (or childs) beliefs. either we celebrate all religious holidays or none.
