To say that one is not as bad as the other just doesn't wash.
They are both in the same direction, one is just more extreme.

To be clear, we've probably had dozens, perhaps hundreds of these threads where right wingers pretend to care about the suppression of minorities (that they despise) in Muslim countries. It's usually a prelude to: A) Making an excuse to attack them; and/or B) Making an excuse to discriminate against and repress Muslims in the US.
Earl looks like he's shooting for B, though probably someone else will pipe in with A.

And what part of Sharia law do conservative Christians disagree with?
That religion has a place in politics? The death penalty? The anti-abortion stance? The decreased value of women in society? The anti-gay stance in it? The judgemental nature towards people who aren’t from the same culture or ethnic group?
Pray tell us! What do you find so vexxing about it?
