This convoy is a courageous act and an entirely appropriate way for the international community to say to Israel, "your behavior is unacceptable. Halt your oppression."

This is the ninth such convoy, I've heard. There need to be more. But not 6 boats next time -- 60 boats.

I *love* Israelis propaganda in reaction to the news that 16 people (allegedly) have been killed : "there were also 6 Israeli commandos "hurt" in this attack.." how pathetic

also, their justification for killing - "those people were *troublemakers* "

Some Israeli officer was quoted in the NY times along these lines: 'They grabbed my baton! And you know how you go crazy when someone grabs your baton!'

Unless it was really the WH that canceled, this is a stupid move by Netanyahu. Now is the time to meet with Obama; not pout and go home.

No doubt exactly as Hamas had planned from the start. Those Turks must have known perfectly well that no ship was going to be allowed to beat the blockade, and they reportedly refused to allow the Israelis to inspect the cargo to ensure no weapons were concealed.

how do you know this?

So the israelis had the right to kill a few people for good measure?
