18-term Democratic Rep. John Murtha has betrayed his country, his office and his constituents numerous times and shows no signs of changing. Isn't it time to put this old dog down?

Please explain to me how he betrayed his country. Yes I read that article. I would like to here you state how you think he betrayed his country.

I dunno... he's been re-elected 14 times so someone must like him...
Plus he sounds fairly conservative for a democrat. Against abortion, against gun control. This is the type of democrat some republicans might like. Or am I going nuts?

That wasn't proven, correct?

Could be true. It is a crime this is for certain. Both Democrats and Repbulicans seem to be guilty of this in equal measure.

Do you think he should be shot for this? If not, don't you think it is in bad taste to joke about killing someone?

He wasn't prosecuted because he testified against the other Democrats targeted in the federal sting.

That sounds familiar. Was he censured? He should have been if that is true.

DSR doesn't need proof. He deals in innuendo.

He should be in prison and not serving his 18th term in the Congress.

I agree with that. However, viewing our legal system throug reality, he probably wouldn't have cooperated then. So, short of prison, he should have been strongly censured which would have hurt his re-election.

You never answered my questions about you asking for him to be shot.

Obviously I'm using hyperbole when I say John Murtha should be shot.
