    I don't know about the scientific merits of stem cell research, but funding should be based on that.

    as long as they're going to throw away harvested embryos, they may as well use them for a purpose. stem cells, fertilizer, or stir fry.

    just guessing, probably near-term abortions are not usable for stem cells. so don't see why the majority of people would have a problem with it.

    don't the majority of people support abortions that are not near-term or 3rd-trimester?
