All I've seen of conservative values in the GOP is that's it's OK to embezzle money, sexually abuse women, exploit the poor, cheat on your spouse, treat our democratically elected allies as 2nd class citizens, dump our industrial waste into our air, earth, and water, and kiss the arse of dictators around the world as long as you wrap yourself in a cloak of Christian purity, wave the Bible around, lecture others about family values, and look down your nose at those "godless liberals"
- and they simply can't figure out why people call them hypocrites. 😏

Funny thing is, he started out a Democrat, buddies with the Clintons and the Gates. Somewhere along the line, his ego took over and he decided to try for President. He quickly realized that he wasn't gonna fool the Democrats, but the Republicans were ripe for the picking. He's touted the Republican line ever since, and even though he doesn't believe in the good things about Republicans, he sure does believe in the bad, and he's mostly busy now harvesting all that bad for himself.
I hope he's perfectly aware that he's going to hell.

I am mildly surprised that the GOP-members won't step up.
Of course there is no value in any party, weher you can't point to a party member that didsomething in direct contrast.
So if we talk about the "GOP" it would be needed to show their programm and the majroity voting not accoring to that. The position on deficit would be a major point here.
Oh and of course there is always an argument to be made to make a singular exception.
