I am not doubting your word. It's just that I am very familiar with firearms growing up and doing my time in the Army and shots like what your dad's friend are talking about are one in a lifetime shots, and he says he can do it 5 out six times at 100 yards. Maybe some buddy else can comment on this besides me.

Plus, I was agreeing that the "from the hip shot" while unlikely is feasible for a 2x6" target at 100 yards. Seriously though, I'd be very happy with a 10 - 15 inch group at 25 yards with anything heavier than a 22cal pistol.

Perfect example, you have never met me, and yet when you read my post that I am a Taoist, immediately look down your nose at me sugesting I can't pronounce the word, I guess because I have expressed less hatred for the right wing, the US, and Bush then you have???? Or is it that you just assume you are smart and everyone else is dumb? Pronouncing the word Taoism would be of little concern to a Taoist, because of what relevence would it be? Taoism doesn't concern itself with knowlege, but with wisdom. Also proving to your very petty self that I can pronounce it would prove nothing, because if you haven't noticed, we are on the "web" here. It would be very simple for anyone, even yourself, to search the word and determine its phoenetics. If you truly wanted to know if my statement of my philisophical preference were true, you should ask me to explain "The Way"
Lastly, what would be the motivation for one to misrepresent their philisophical predilections. I fear for you that you are a bit unstable mentally. - It's Ok - I have met Taoists before who mis-pronounced it because they learnt it from a book. I learned the philosophy at university, so I can pronounce it properly.
