The rest of us aren't willing to sacrifice quality for price, like you must be.

Yes, some have no choice, I realize that, but those of us that do, don't make that choice. So it costs more. Yes, more than last year. When respected scientists do experiments, they are sure to use identical materials. They don't go cheaper just to claim their costs are down.
