Without exaggeration, Knicks losing against Houston was one of the saddest times I remember as a child.
Knicks choked against Pacers and I swore never to let myself get emotionally invested in any sporting event ever again.
Then Knicks had that dumb brawl with Miami and stupidly lost the shot to play against Jordan's bulls. This was the same year Knicks gave the Bulls their biggest loss of the year. By that point, I swore off being a Knicks fan. I didn't even care when they made the finals during that lockout year.
Slowly I let myself become a Knicks fan again after Mello joined, though the 2000s were mostly pretty embarrassing.
Still, especially after that historic comeback last game, this feels good.
Go NY, Go NY, Go!
@no1marauder saidA refreshing post from the Marauder!!!!!!! Everyone has humor, whether they like it or not. well, maybe not shouse, but he's cool
53 years without a NBA championship with non-socialist mayors and barely 6 months after a socialist takes the office in New York City the Knicks win it all!
Coincidence?
EDIT: Would have been a sweep if some senile old fool hadn't despoiled MSG with his and his flunkies presence in Game 3.
