@the-grifter saidThe man was hated. People are celebrating in Venezuela and dancing in the streets, and Trump is a hero.
in the maduro arrest there were about 30 dead "high security cubans" taken out.
it shows that Maduro has not trusted his own people to protect him if he needed Cubans to be his bodyguard.
a thin hold on power.
The only ones crying are the Trump haters around here.
@the-grifter saidAre you cool with those 30+ people losing their lives? Or are Cubans expendable?

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidSome laws are for respecting, others are for breaking.
And perhaps those who respect international law.
A law that says you have to allow a tyrant to rig elections, take over the country, expel foreigners, turn the citizens into beggars and kill dissenters, is for breaking.
Your conscience should tell you that. If I assume you have one, then the only reason you have is Trump hatred.
@Rajk999 saidThe history books will not be kind to Trump.

@Rajk999 saidAnd not all Venezuelans are celebrating. Again, widen your intake of news. Many were outraged by their president’s abduction and Trump’s decision to invade, a flagrant violation of international law.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidThats the equivalent of thumbsup, or likes or followers. This may come as a surprise but some people DGAF about who likes them. Trump is one and that is an admirable quality. Maybe you should try it sometime

There was a problem in Venezuela since 1999 when Chavez came into power. The world should have fixed it since then. Nobody did. Apparently everybody used the same excuse like you.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidVenezuela has a population of about 30 million. It is estimated about half of them fled the country. Do you really think the amount of people outraged will be significant? Of course there will be the Maduro party supporters and other crooks who benefited from this corrupt regime.

The fact taht you continue to support this evil man says something about your conscience. .. it is missing.

@Rajk999 saidI think your own conscience evaporated back in the 60's.

I imagine the average Venezuelan is fearful of what is to come.
Edit: And where have I said anything in support of him? - I have condemned the actions of Trump violating international laws. The backstory of Venezuela is irrelevant to this.
