I think he and Blair and all the rest of the selfish greedy nasty little feckers should be dragged into the street, stripped and beaten.

It was only raised in answer to a previous post. I think he, and politicians in general get to much attention and credit from all sides. After all since when did we expect more from them.

hope this means you like me again
don't worry everyone is entitled to his/her own oppinion the fact that you think that bush should remain in power doesn't mean necessarily that you like him: maybe he is the best moron you could choose(it wouldn't be nicer to have a president named Dick(i think this is what the other candidate name was))

but seriuosly now Bush doesn't seem to me that he cares for the space program(or education, or social welfare, or anything other than military). My personal oppinion is that he is an idiot and he hides this by pushing America into wars so he could distract the people from the problems at home.
If you like Bush it is your problem and i don't have the right to judge you for this(i voted for a president that turned out to be more idiot than bush).

You should watch Michael Moore's Awful Truth from time to time. it is an eye opener about bush

I'm confused now....

When did coi say he thinks Bush should remain in power? Or that he liked him? I think the quote about stripping him and Blair naked and beating them kinda refutes that idea slightly...

Much as I hate to admit it, (if only you knew...) coi is right about this, Bush is competent at remaining in power (or at least, his minions/puppermasters/warmongering buddies/powercrazed morons/scumsucking c&nts [delete as appropriate] are competent at keeping him in power). I think the lack of credable opposition didn't exactly help, either...

We seem to have the same problem on this side of the pond too...

Not good enough to prevent an inevitable decline into imbicility...

Since the father has only two versions of each gene, one or the other of them must appear in each of his children. Any two children that have the same father are expected to also have the same paternal gene at approximately one-half of the loci tested. If three children have the same father, at least two of them must share the same paternal gene at each locus.

Totally without ironic intent - the longest term commitment with the greatest rewards is the exploration of the self and the motivations that drive us to do the insane things that we routinely do...

(There is no Global Warming. Slag Kyoto. Oh my - Katrina!!!! A fine example of short-term thinking.)

Space is neat - but most of us have an excess between our ears already.

While I'll agree that self-examination is a useful skill that a lot of people seem to lack, it does not, and should not, stop us from doing other things, including exploring space. Part of the wonder of being human is the ability to perform more than one task at a time!!!!!

As for the Global Warming thing, yes, the planet is getting warmer. Did it cause Katrina? Did it cause Rita? Well, don't hurricanes go in cycles? Didn't all this happen around 80 years ago? Isn't this just the beginning of another heavy hurricane cycle, due to continue for the next 20-odd years? Most scientists happily admit this seems to be the case, it's only the scaremongers who tend to argue otherwise.

Oh, and as for the cause of global warming, wasn't most of North America and Europe covered in ice a while ago? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe there were many cars or factories around then, and yet, the Earth got hotter. Whoda thunk it? Could it possibly be that there are other factors at work?

Explain the Global Warming on mars at the moment. So extreme nasa can measure a difference in only 2-3 years. Seems even more than on Earth. Or did we somehow cause that too...? Did nasa accidently fit the Spirit rover with a turbo-charged V8.....? I suppose it is a six-wheeler....
