Perhaps it is now time to step back and look around us as we set aside our skewed ideological glasses. Looking back on the Supreme Court's decision to allow corporate money to flow unlimited funds into the political process, I remeber how those on the left vehemently fought the ruling. It was seen as a way for corporate America to further control the political process. However, the Supremes also recently upheld the mandate for government to require us all to buy health insurance from corporate America. This had those on the right vehemently opposing the mandate, for obvious reasons, and the left defending the decision.

So looking back at both decisions with those on the right and left at odds over both, could it be said that corporate America has divided and conquered the American people?

I have always assumed that Obamacare was just one step to a single payer system. In fact, those that support it probably also assume this and support it as a result. However, what if we are wrong.....

Now that corporate America seemingly can "tax" us courtesy of SCOTUS, the only question becomes, how much?

I know, I know, the only tax will only be in relation to the penalty for not buying health care. However, the penalty must be set to offset the money being demanded by corporate America and will rise accordingly.

AS with everything else, the truth is obscured and propped up by convoluded letigious doublespeak.

A Paul Bunyan step, perhaps.

Isn't that the truth!

A single-payer system is not the only model that could result in universal health care access.

That came out wrong.

I meant we're still a Paul Bunyan step away...

Never mind.

The point of my thread is that even though the court has been perceived as leaning left or right at times, they are consistant in terms of their support of corporate America.
