Not that I wish this, but it seems this would be a good time for China to reclaim Taiwan, while the USA tears itself apart.

Heck, Russia might as well re-invade eastern Europe.

You can't reclaim what you ready claim. Taiwan is part of China, period.

The US needs to stay out wars, especially those involving superpowers.

I think kev meant that China might try to militarily occupy Taiwan while the world dithers over whether to offer boots on the ground to support Ukraine's independence. The situation for Taiwan is rather different, however, as China would have to mount an amphibious assault, which is logistically much more challenging than an overland assault.
