The government is spending a lot more than it takes in. It can cut spending or raise taxes. It is unreasonable to cut spending, as you have previously argued. I am making the argument that it should raise taxes on the rich, by a lot, because the rich currently pay very little in taxes compared to the working class. In doing so, they will close the budget gap so the next generation is not burdened with debt to repay.
It's not socialism, it's common sense.
