Okay, so I assume you're talking about unrealized capital gain. If you're not talking about unrealized capital gain, then your point is irrelevant, since nobody realizes a b ...[text shortened]... uld be disastrous, though I suppose this policy would be more like a second layer of antitrust laws.

No, not good. Could it be that your unusual life has impeded your ability to understand Amazon and Google, and what they have wrought? I'd wager that you have used google in the last several days.......or minutes!
Are y'all still using carts there, or have you advanced to Henry Ford type vehicles? Geez
Oh I know what it is. The dam rich people!

I’m still pissed off that Google acquired Yahoo! and forced me to log off my Yahoo! email when I logged on to gmail. They used to taunt us with the logo “one account all Google”. A**holes.

yes they have brought about monopolies. they kill competition. If amazon wasn't allowed to turn into the unholy abomination that it is today, we would have more companies bringing your crap to your door

zahlooney, the only monopoly is the goobermint. Which you're a big fan of, they also have a franchise on the initiation of force and threats of force.

Monopoly + Force

An extremely dangerous combination, of which you're a fanboy.

There are many countries in which they do, literally, kill competition.

Edit: Just saw your edit. Amazon are not a monopoly. The IRD is a monopoly.

It's business , thousand . You just dont get it, do you? You see, you think that they have a duty of care to you .....sort of like living in Romania. But, they owe you nothing. The answer is to start your own google. Class dismissed.

Thumb up from AvJpoe. Wajoma nails Zahlanzi. Zahlanzi chews on his pillow all night, his bed will be afloat in feathers tomorrow!

Let's challenge Zahlanzi to not think about the government all day tomorrow. I never do myself. Do you?

Because big blue chip companies are important parts of the economy.

The 100% billionaires tax means the big companies are capped at 1% of what they are today. That's not a good thing.

Give us an example of a monopoly that is going on right now. You may be surprised at your answer, which would negate your previous paragraph.

I assume you will give us a few one-word answers, some maybe 3,word
