Texas ordered raids on homes of Latino voting rights organizers over claims of voter fraud. Surprise, surprise....they found nothing:
Texas Republicans accused of intimidation after raiding homes over voter fraud claims
Texas attorney general, said in a statement last week his office had executed multiple search warrants in Bexar county, which includes San Antonio, as well as neighboring Frio and Atascosa counties as part of an ongoing, two-year investigation. The office did not provide details of the investigation or respond to a request for comment.
No one has been arrested and the exact nature of the investigation remains unclear. But the searches themselves were designed to intimidate, Lulac officials said.
Texas Attorney General Paxton’s office has operated an entire unit dedicated to prosecuting cases of voter fraud for years. The unit has a budget of millions of dollars, but closes very few cases. In the last fiscal year, for example, it had a budget of $2.3m and handled just four cases, according to the Houston Chronicle.
This story is from August. And while it's common for significant news stories to slip through the cracks, how this one didn't get on the national radar is dumfounding.
This is around the time Georgia changed elections rules to allow them to context voting results they don't like, for arbitrary reasons:

The GOP is the single biggest threat to Democracy in the U.S.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidRead the full article. The raid was ordered by a Texas AG with a proven history of inflating cases to make it seem like he was investigating "massive fraud".
OMG they were being investigated for voter fraud, well we certainly can't have that.
Also (and this is key) the Republican AG *only* raided homes of Latino Democrats. These particular Latinos were voting rights organizers aimed at helping Latinos vote.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidYet after all those raids, no arrests were made.
"Voting rights organizers aimed at helping illegals vote"
There, fixed it for you.
There's go your propaganda.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidYou're talking about Latinos. Without knowing anything about them, you called them "illegals" and "sneaky".
Can't be too cautious, it doesn't hurt to be sure.
The sneaky little devils would do it if they thought they could get away with it.
And you'll complain when you're called out for being racist, right?
@Cliff-Mashburn saidVoter fraud only exists on such a minuscule scale that it only has a tiny effect on elections.
OMG they were being investigated for voter fraud, well we certainly can't have that.
Election fraud, as practiced by Republicans, is far more widespread.
"Stop the Steal" should have been called "Continue the Steal".
