DOGE has lied about saving tax dollars. The slash and burn of federal agencies and departments has saved a fraction of what Muskrat has claimed. Their real intent is not to save taxpayer money, but to destroy democracy so they can increase Musk's and Trump's personal wealth and power. @Phranny saidUsing the insult 'muskrat' reduces your integrity as a poster. In the opening post, your aim should be to eliminate the insults so that people will be more inclined to take you seriously.

@Phranny saidLooks like a scam newspaper. They want you to subscribe otherwise you cannot read their foolishness. Anyway, the Dow Jones fell about 1,500 points since Trump took office. That would impact mostly on the rich billionaires whose assets are mostly stocks. Your point is rubbish.

It's not like they have ever lied about Trump before in order to make the Dems look good or cover up all the crooked things Biden has done.
@Rajk999 saidThe dow is down because of tariffs, nothing to do with DOGE.

You fight a separate topic because you can't argue against the actual topic on merit.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidAll I would ask for is some evidence that what DOGE is finding is real. It should be super simple to verify if they found $300 million in federal payment to an 11 year old but they make the claim with no evidence, no follow up, no criminal charges.
Oh hell if the NY Times says it, it must be so.

When will MAGA start asking for receipts?
@Cliff-Mashburn saidThat's great. What about this topic? We know musk and his team have been off by 3 orders of magnitude with their numbers. Their response has been to reduce transparency. Trust but verify.
Biden's last two days in office someone slipped him a piece of paper to sign giving 2 billion dollars to Stacy Abrams to spend and she can't account for any of it.
Someone is going to prison over it.

How do you know that?
Let me guess, you heard that on The View?

In one case, DOGE had to revise its largest contract down from $8 billion to $8 million after the contract’s vendor explained that the $8 billion listed on its procurement record was likely a clerical error.

@Rajk999 saidIn other words you totally believe everything puked out by Trump the traitor AND Musk, the RAT.

There is a reason Tesla's sales are WAY down, like half what they used to sell and that is world wide not just in the USA.
@wildgrass saidThe contention of the opening post appears to be that the aim of the administration is to enrich those already rich. If they deliberately do stuff which affects the stock markets [where most of their assets lie] negatively then clearly that is not the case.
