For all of you who are outside Mexico (99.99% of this website), I kindly ask you to keep track of the news in the days to follow, because the only hope for a real change in the country is international pressure.
As you may be aware of by now, yesterday the legislators engaged into a big brawl inside the Congress because many people are trying to impede the entrance into office of the fraudulently elected right-wing president (constitutional rise shall take place December 1st).
Millions are already preparing to march over the Congress that day, legislators are blocking the entrance to the main podium, and the military is already camping outside the Congress, tanks included.
It is a true pre-war state, with civil liberties reduced to a minimum.
The only protection the millions of peasants and poor people demanding social justice and equal opportunities (instead of the permanent colonial state in which the country lives), is the international community to be attentive to what happens. EU is already proposing not to sell weapons to Mexico, because it is demonstrated by now the government uses them for repression (please google Oaxaca and keep track in indymedia)... but the carnage that may happen in 2 days can only be stopped if you press your local legislator and your local newspaper to be attentive to what is happening.

Just keep in mind that the press and government have ALWAYS been on the side of the money, so don't expect much from the rest of the world.
Expect people calling bovine caca liberal propaganda the fact that someone care about the peasant in a country.
Expect any elected president there that really care for the people to be killed by one of the superpowers - they have missed Chavez so far, but let them just reload the gun.
Read the history - but not the one from your school books. Read the one that shows who put in place the dictators in south/central america and more generally in the world in order to empty the countries from their assets.
The only revolution will be made by the people of the world getting rid of the government selling daily the soul of their country to companies.
Much much more people will die for nothing, for those companies to get richer.
Mexico has one of the sadest history in the world.
Aint too sure the revolution will happen tomorrow.

Me neither... but, hey, we all have dreams, isn't it 😞
Thats the beauty of it and I really dont believe there's gonna be any government left if 50 years time. People are taking back what was suppose to be theirs: power, justice and social issues solving.
I watched an amazing doc about "Africa reaggae" I thought it was called, which is a community project that get the kids from brazil out of the street. They have reduced the amount of Drug soldiers to about 0 in some cities, and they have a network now of about 2000 people.
Thats a country where 12/13 years old kids have guns to defend themself against Patrol of Death (cops). Can't be more f*** up as a situation.
Gotta post more infos about it, later on.
So yeah this world is moving towards a good direction, just some more priests, politicians and managers to hang and we'll be fine 😀
Power to the people!

is deeply marked by it ever since... it seems 😞
Paz' The Labyrinth of Solitude and Distant Neighbors from Riding are
very good briefs of the inheritance the Mexicans carry ever since.
