Even with TRUMP screwing up the response to the pandemic we are better off with vaxx than without.
It is UNBELIEVABLE you could still be WORSHIPPING your god king Trump when you have to know Trump is corrupt as politicians get, I take it back, Trump has entered a new normal where it is OK to say there were millions of fraudulent votes.
How can ANY half way intelligent people have fallen for such NONSENSE?

Our technology is failing us.
The omicron strain is one part cold virus. Literally it is the covid virus with a big chunk of genetic material from a cold virus built into it. It would have to have originated in a person who caught a cold and covid simultaneously. My hope is that this happens more often in the future, until the covid virus fades to become just another virus that causes the common cold. It may already be halfway there.
Anyway, an updated Pfizer vaccine that deals with many of the newer variants, including delta and omicron, is expected to be coming by March.
* By "effective" I mean fully preventing a breakthrough infection.
