This is a somewhat older footage (september 2015)

Bernie sanders takes questions at Liberty University, a very christian and conservative institute. Just as a piece of trivia, it is the same university Ted Cruz put to sleep when he talked there, but that's not important.

My favorite moment was how he dealt with the question on abortion. Didn't insult the audience. Didn't deny or play down his stance to pander to the audience. He simply stated how the side that constantly declares that the lives of children (including those still in the womb) are sacred also cut head start funding, education grants, healthcare grants and so on and gave the money to the rich. He simply pointed how the republicans keep saying that the government should stay out of people's lives as much as possible and then declare that the government should interfere and tell women how to make a deeply traumatic decision.

Also would note that Bernie does regular interviews on Fox News. When was the last time any of the Republican candidates did interviews on NBC?

Give Jeb Bush credit as he did an interview on NPR which aired this morning. Of course he doesn't have much to lose at this point.

the problem with berkely is that people there might actually understand what horrible crap he is spouting and he would get booed off stage after 10 minutes.

Dr. Francis Collins, head of the Human Genome Project and director of the National Human Genome Research Institute, spoke at the University of California, Berkeley. So I see no reason Donald Trump would not be willing to speak at UC Berkeley.

Dr. Collins presents a case for harmony between faith in science and faith in God. He also shares about his personal intellectual and spiritual journey from agnosticism, to atheism, and to Christianity.

I would not say Bernie Sanders does regular interviews on FOX News. Donald Trump has also appeared on NBC and MSNBC.

Whether or not you would say it - it happens to be true. He's a regular on O'Reilly.

Bernie has appeared on O'Reilly a few times, but he is far from a regular. Instead of a Socialist, Bernie said he was a Democratic Socialist, as if that made a difference. Ha. 😏

O'Reilly called him "a regular." I don't watch O'Reilly enough to know who his regulars are.
