No, I am not talking about Charles Schumer. While Sasquatch may prefer or be turned on by Charles Schumer, for those of us who want to see a cute lady or are heterosexual, see these photos:

one thing to look at a playmate and another to look at a senator and judge her by her looks.
or perhaps you do this because you are protected by the anonymity of the internet.
would you do this same thing at your workplace? would you find it appropriate?

We are moved by a good looking woman.
But when it comes to politics well it all depends what she stands for.
If she appeals to your politics then great. You get your view represented
and by a good looking woman too.
It does help you know when someone is easy on the eye.
Not always, just sometimes.
I liked your picture of Charlton Heston and the two tablets of stone.
I know that you have a sense of humour.

JFK was praised for being good-looking and having a gorgeous wife. Palin was also praised for her looks, and so was Obama (most famously, that picture of him jogging with his shirt off).
This isn't "misogynist" any more than the media fawning over Obama's shirtless pic is misandry.

But seriously though, would you vote for Sarah Palin?
Even if she is/was a babe??????????????????????????????
Don't really know about that now.
I'd nail her, but I wouldn't vote for her.
Originally posted by johnnylongwoodyNo, I'd never vote for Palin. Still doesn't change the fact that (unfortunately) many Americans are influenced by superficial things, such as "likability" (great speaker, fun personality, good looks, endorsed by a celebrity, etc.).

So as sad is it, looks are a part of politics.
Originally posted by johnnylongwoodyReally? I would've agreed eight years ago when she was a MILF. But now, she's just an old chick...unless you're the same age, then I understand.
I'd nail her
That's the trap of getting into a relationship with a MILF, like Ashton Kutcher did: they're at their sexual peak and really hot, but soon get old.

She's past her sell by date.
I'm only going by old stuff I saw on TV.
Originally posted by johnnylongwoodythis is less about humor and more about a male mindset. we have a US senator, but could have been a judge, firefighter, doctor or whatever, noticed because of something that has no relation to her job. we have no idea what she stands for as a politician, what her accomplishments are. all we know is that out of all the senators, she is was singled out because she is pretty.
Stay cool Zalhanzi, we are all only human males after all.

as males, we do not realize this is insulting. do you believe she should be flattered? that someone noticed something that her husband and herself already noticed?
this comes at the same time i have been reading about how female game developers are treated in general. how a pretty game dev was told by a taxi driver that she is the hottest geek he ever saw. what was meant as a compliment from the taxi driver was in fact perceived as an insult, and i would say rightly so, by the dev in question, a professional that wrote thousands of lines of code, yet she was not asked about the projects she worked on like a male programmer would have been.
compared to other cases of persecution, this seems like the least of the world's problems. but it is also the easiest to correct. let's stop objectifying women who do not ask to be objectified.

men fail to notice this because boobies and pretty faces are awesome. women do not voice their dislike because it is easier to go along to get along.
also examples from the 60's and 70's aren't quite helping.
