What really caused the demise of Forum Wars? I guess I reared my ugly head after FW's Golden Days. I expected significantly more beligerent flaming and profanity. I must say I was disappointed int quality and quantity of the insanity I was assured would be there. Sort of like being told how wonderful a particular vacation spot is by a travel agent only to find that you'll be staying in a broken down hovel, smelling like cat piss, has rats the size of small dogs for roomates and the alcoholic beverages and loose women promised turn out to be two 80 year old ladies with a bottle of fermented yak milk.

everyone who posted at FW was played by Cribs - it was just his way of getting back at the RHP admins for excommunicating him, and FW posters served his purpose. As someone has pointed out, now that that purpose is no longer necessary, no more FW. 'hope you enjoyed the ride peeps, don't need you no more, ta ta'...
