Yes! The second election of my life that I'm not eligible to vote. The first was in Israel (I didn't have citizenship there) and this time I'm not a participant in the Dutch bureaucracy yet, so don't get to vote.
In Israel Netenjahu was elected, so lets hope things take a turn to the left this time.
I'm interested to hear what Dutch people here are going to vote (Ivanhoe?), and if people in different countries follow elections in smaller countries like in the Netherlands.

Israel has enough enemies without giving you citizenship. You are the one that stated you didn't vote in the Isreali elections so I guess I'm on subject.
Don't judge that which you don't have the faintest idea of what you are talking about.
But, if you will, stick to the subject and say something useful.

Yes, the title of the thread does give it away, I know...
Are you suggesting that Israeli arabs shouldn't be allowed to vote? I mean, they don't fight in the army?
Are you suggesting that the really religious zionists shouldn't be allowed to vote in Israel? I mean, they don't fight in the army?
What do you mean? And what does it have to do with the Dutch elections?
Originally posted by shavixmirI know the thread is about Dutch elections. You are the one who made the point that that you couldn't voe in the election just like you couldn't vote in the Israeli election that had someone in the electio you didn't like. I was just pointing out your little smirky snide comment concerning the person running. For your information there are Israeli Arabs serving in the Army. Not many but , they are there. Personally I think all religious fanatics shouldn't be able to vote. For some reason religion seems to cloud their way of thinking.

Originally posted by slimjimRight on. If the people in charge of voter registration came up with a fair way to determine who is a religious fanatic, then we'd agree on something!

Jesus...
Those christians are still probably going to be the biggest party. A party led by someone who looks like Harry bloody Potter.
The capitalists got a hammering though.
The socialists have made major gains.
And the anti-islamic party made major gains as well, which obviously sucks
Oh well. I'm off for a good cry.
