Ok, at best you've taken the quote out of context, and worse, you've misquoted it.
Err... No, I didn't. This guy was raving about how TODAY we cannot have a debt-free government because he claims money supply can't exist without it and we needed to reform our banking system before thinking about a debt-free government.
This is false and I've exp ...[text shortened]... it), it is not now and so the statement above is still the rantings of a lunatic.
Certain parts of history have been suppressed and you need to become aware of it to come to a proper conclusion. You are prejudging at best, misleading at worse. I will assume it is the former rather than the latter.
You are avoiding that uncomfortable feeling of cognitive dissonance in an effort to preserve your present belief system. You cannot progress by doing this. Watch the whole film!
I have noticed you have a habit of jumping to conclusions without sufficient information. This does not serve you well.
FAIL!

Looking over your responses to Pal, I can't help but see the resemblance between your post and those of the fundamentalist Christians in Spirituality. They claim that the Bible is infallible. When anyone points to a contradiction in the text, they respond in exactly the same way. "You've taken that out of context. If you read the entire Bible, then you'd see that it is not."
Would you say that Paul Grignon is your "Jesus" and Money Masters is your Bible?
* - homeworks on monetary theory no less! Yes, contrary to Paul Grignon, monetary theory is taught in school. Some one should have told Paul to go to college.

Here's something for you:
There is NO possible context that would make the statement I've quoted true.

I needed less than two minutes to find the first lie. 😵
Ok. Let's start with the start. At about 1min 30 secs in, some guy says:
We cannot extinguish government debt without extinguishing money supply
FALSE.
Open market operations can be done with many different securities and not necessarily with government bonds. Bonds are usually used be ...[text shortened]... ssets. Besides, the Fed could also use of the discount window more extensively if it needed so.
The discount window allows institutions to borrow money from the Fed. That is just moving debt, how will that help?

Btw both you and Tel have given me good food for thought. Thanks. When I have some time I want to still ask a few more questions and debate a bit further.
BTW, that comment wasn't meant for you. I think it's fair to say it's not hard to identify those that think for themselves.

Help with what? It doesn't have to be government debt => your video is full of crock.

Still no facts I see. Nothing but mindless criticism. I can see I really got to you, though you will never admit it.
Grignon had nothing to do with the Money masters. Once again, wrong film.
If you have such a problem with Grignon contact him and tell him what you think. Or better yet, ask him a sensible question. Maybe you will learn something you didn't know before. I'm sure he gets feedback from many people like yourself.

You are making it difficult to understand. I am starting to think that has been your goal all along. Everything you say is non specific.
If you sent me a related link instead of expecting me to read your mind it would save us both a lot of time. At least then I could see the context your info is in.

I don't have a link, because what I know is not taken textually from any website. Unlike you, I don't have a Gospel to resort to, I have only reality. I also don't expect you to read my mind, I expect you to read my posts. Until now, you've shown repeatedly that you cannot even do that (e.g. last two columns)

Is this nit picking the best you can do? If you can't even address the right film, what does that say about you? Pal won't even watch it.
Did you even watch the whole film? It would not surprise me if you did not watch most of it. Many people do not have the courage to watch the whole film. It is a threat to their blissful ignorance and they avoid it like the plague.
There is only so much brutal truth a fragile mind can take before it runs from that truth. I see it all the time. If they were confident it was bunk they would not fear watching it. Pal is terrified of watching it. What about you? Can you handle it?

You still think monetary policy helped to stabilize the economy. FAIL!
