@AverageJoe1 saidWhat is the topic of this thread, and how does your post fit in?
Tell me what I have written that is inappropriate? Or wrong, for that matter.
@shavixmir saidBoth at fault, but one is stupid and the other is smart.
Civilians.
You don’t seem to comprehend that Hamas and the Israeli government are at fault with their respective behaviours.
Palestinians are stupid. The chief reason is that they had many opportunities to set up their own country, with lots of funding from international agencies and donations from well-wishers, to the tune of $1Billion US, annually. Instead of doing that they wasted their money on building tunnels and buying weapons to fight an enemy a thousand times stronger.
They are consumed with hatred and rather die than live in peace alongside the Jews. Serves them right.
@Metal-Brain saidIsrael is doing the right thing. There is no other way to fight Hamas. The population of Gaza is in full support of Hamas and has allowed them to set up their military hardware in schools, hospitals and mosques, which are protected under the Geneva Convention from attack. Placing military installations in these locations removes this protection and the IDF is free to attack these civilian spaces.
No, the attack was well thought out and rational. Saudi Arabia was about to normalize relations with Israel. Preventing that was a completely logical thing to do. Only the methods are questionable. Same with Israel's methods in Gaza. Very questionable.
Bombing these places is the right thing to do. Gazans want to die... so be it.
