Donald Trump has thrown a monkey wrench into the GOP machinery with his trash talking style, foul language, and odd mixture of conservative and liberal views. If this election stays on its present path (and I think it will) Hillary will be our next president, the democrats will retake the senate, and the GOP will retain control the house, though by a smaller majority. Whatever happens, it's clear the traditional republican politician in the mold on Ronald Reagan is not what most voters want anymore. So, what direction will the GOP take in 2017? Will the tea party become the dominant wing of the party? Will more GOP candidates become like Trump? Will this be the beginning of the redefining of the term "conservative" Any ideas?
