Well, it's not like hiring a lawyer.

There is no historical record that proves that multiparty systems work any better than a two party true opposition system.

The US Constitution for about 220 years is a pretty successful model, admitting it may have flaws, Article V has a built in solution. The solution is crafting amendments to take care of the known weaknesses of the Constitution.
Remarkably, this is hard to refute. 🙂

So you do not vote. Wow, that's a lot of influence.
Surely better than voting for someone you don't want? An influence in a direction you don't want is worse than no influence at all. I would rather have a guy who knows he does not have my mandate than a guy that thinks he does when he doesn't.

Which would be better for you:

To say you have zero influence or that you voted to elect people who brought back Slavery by way of a Constitutional Amendment?

2012 we had a clear choice and the stupidity of the American voter was clearly demonstrated.
I stopped believing in democracy a long time ago, allowing people to vote just because they are 18 and can breathe is idiotic.

These people can vote.

How's that make you feel?
I want to go back to some threshold. Giving everyone the right to vote is a slow road to destruction, because those with less will always, eventually, vote themselves more. I understand, income disparity, ah, what the hell, it was fun while it lasted, and let's get on with the class wars.

I'm saying that many-party systems disintegrate into petty squabbling where no one is in clear control...
I see that as a good thing. 🙂
