@Great-King-Rat saidAll Trump has to do is send several people there illegally and he will have the support of you liberals.
Do you think it’s a good thing for America to threaten its allies (or whatever is left of that) with economic sanctions in order to force that ally to sell a country to America? A sale that no-one except for Trump and his cult followers wants.
It’s been made abundantly clear by all involved that Greenland and Denmark do not wish to sell Greenland to the USA. Do you not think your country should respect that decision?

@Great-King-Rat saidFirst, I think you and your cohorts do not really understand the law, in regard to what is going on with Ice agents who are trying to remove illegals from this country, who are bombarded by bottles, fireworks,….the paid protestors break the law, you see. Do you see?.

Anyway, Your comments are full of holes. He
toys with tarriffs, where have you been. Some of these countries have never had to pay tariffs, so here we go again with leveling the playing field. I say tariff them.
Denmark ‘doesn’t want to sell’? Do you not understand the process of negotiation when one person wants to buy from the other. A man had an Austin Healy that I wannted to buy. He said he was not interested in selling to me. After a bit of haggling, I talked him into selling me the Healy. Negotiations make the world go round.
Be real (and by the way, we have not made an offer yet for them to even refuse). Surely you follow? Trump has good reasons, like getting it before the Chinese do, and for the minerals. He will practice his negotiations legally.
So this begs the question… After Trump tells them he wants to buy from them, and they say no, do you expect Trump or anyone with business sense to just walk away?
@Mott-The-Hoople saidMaybe you could actually answer my question…
All Trump has to do is send several people there illegally and he will have the support of you liberals.

@AverageJoe1 saidYour first paragraph has diddly squat to do with the topic at hand. We already know you approve of your government murdering people in the street as they attempt to drive away.

That’s right, Denmark doesn’t want to sell. Greenlanders overwhelmingly don’t want to become Americans.
Trump isn’t negotiating. Trump is attempting economic blackmail of anyone who offers support to Denmark against the bully we call America.
Trump may offer whatever he wishes to offer when Denmark says no, but when Denmark continues to say no, do you think blackmailing your allies is a good thing to do?
If the man you want to buy his Austin from does not wish to sell, do you think blackmailing him would be the correct thing to do?
@Great-King-Rat saidWho is being blackmailed? And how

@no1marauder saidYou dont know much about business

Or trading. 😂

What an utter and complete lack of moral compass.

@Mott-The-Hoople saidI've negotiated thousands of agreements. You never start with threats, you try to convince the other side that the proposed deal is mutually beneficial. Threats, especially. the transparent bluffs Trump constantly engages in, merely hardens the other side's position for no purpose.

@no1marauder saidIf I may respond with your measure of locution, your casual use of the word threat...You would likely say that Trump's giving Maduro 3 (or was it 4) options before grabbing him was a threat. The options were threats.?
Anyone with business sense knows you don't start negotiations with threats.
So, you see, Trump is a negotiator, and for the record, he is so good at it that military will never enter his mind. It won't have to.
His 'threats' about his incliination to buy Greenland (before the Chinee do) will be OFFERS for them to accept or reject. THEIR game is to say NO at first. Then he makes another offer and off they go.
One offer could be to offer $1,000,000 each to the 57000 Greenlanders. We have $50,000,000,000 to spare, thanks to Trump econ genius. Sue has suggested we use it to feed the world for about 5 days.
They come back with a NO, and he sweetens it up a bit, and uses any technique at hand. He might say you will be part of the world's greatest nation with 100% security, which you do not have now.
No threats, Marauder. Relax, you get a bit of angst on occasion.
Would appreciate your not poisoning minds on the Forum.
@no1marauder saidThat is obvious, who said that?

@Great-King-Rat saidFunny, 'Denmark does not want to sell." Well, hell, that takes care of that. Tell our front men in Greenland/Denmark, to pack their bags and check out of the hotels, come on home......No Deal!!!!!! But wait, no offer has been made yet.

@AverageJoe1 saidNo, your confusion is not by “us’all”; you’re trying to make sense of the nonsensical, because your cult mind needs you to.
